Ministry can sometimes feel like an uphill climb. Our State Quarterly Meetings are purposefully designed to bridge that gap.

These meetings are open to all active Kairos volunteers, Advisory Council members, program leaders, and anyone interested in learning more about getting involved with Kairos Prison Ministry of Texas. Whether you are deeply embedded in a local ministry or brand new to the organization, you are welcome here.

Every advisory council is required to have one member in attendance. Typically, the chair attends the meeting. However, if the chair of the council cannot attend the meeting another member of the council can attend in their place.

The gathering typically spans a powerful two-day format beginning on Friday evening with a board meeting and concluding on Saturday with a general session. The agenda features a blend of statewide updates, inspiring worship, leadership reporting, collaborative breakout sessions, and ample time for peer networking.

Attending provides your local AC with a direct line of communication to state leadership. Representatives bring back crucial updates, compliance guidelines, recruitment strategies, and spiritual encouragement that directly strengthen how local weekends and follow-up programs are executed.
